Kanban Task Board

Manage all your firm's work on QwikCA's Kanban task board — assign tasks to staff, track status and timesheets, and see every deadline in one view.

The Kanban task board is where your firm’s day-to-day work lives. Every piece of work — a GST filing, a TDS payment, an audit, an ITR — is a task you can see, assign and move through your workflow.

How the board works

Tasks move across columns that match how your firm actually works, for example:

To Do → In Progress → Pending Client → Review → Completed

Drag a card from one column to the next as work progresses. Everyone sees the same live board, so there’s no confusion about who’s doing what.

What’s on a task card

  • Client the work is for
  • Assignee — the staff member responsible
  • Due date linked to the relevant compliance deadline
  • Status and priority
  • Checklist of sub-steps
  • Attachments and comments so all context stays in one place
  • Time logged against the task (see timesheets)

Assigning and tracking work

Assign any task to a team member and they’ll be notified. Filter the board by assignee, client, service or due date to instantly answer questions like “what’s overdue?” or “what’s on Priya’s plate this week?”

Views

Switch between the board view, a list view for bulk updates, and a calendar view to see deadlines across the month.
